It's All White for The Help at Essence Black Women's Lunchnch

Well don't these two look utterly adorable at the pre-Oscars Essence Black Women in Hollywood lunch held yesterday? First let's discuss Viola Davis' bold move to wear her natural hair to the function - the first time she has to my knowledge. And she looks SO BEAUTIFUL. The simple white shift dress is just a foil for her incredibly beautiful smile, in my view. A case of simple style being totally perfect.

Her cast mate Emma Stone - who we have loved of course since the days of Easy A - looked just as lovely at the event, although of course her appearance relied rather more heavily on that dress that we just MUST HAVE. How divine?
It makes me very happy to see the whole cast of The Help attending all the functions. It has been about 9 months now that these ladies have equally shared the limelight to promote this film of theirs. And while Viola and Octavia are taking all the awards nods, Jessica Chastain and Emma Stone are right there alongside them the whole way. Even at the Black Women event. While only the cast members of colour from Grey's Anatomy attended, the cast of The Help all turned up. Equally supportive. Equally recognised. That is what it is all about. Happs.
